INSURANCE SPECIFICS

METAPHYSIO HAWAII/ Christine Keller is an out of network provider, which means you will pay for your treatments at the time of your visit. Within 2 days you will receive an invoice to submit to your insurance company.  If you have out of network benefits, your insurance will pay a portion of the treatment cost.  If you are submitting to insurance for reimbursement a medical doctors prescription is necessary.

In the state of Hawaii, Physical Therapists who have been practicing for more than 3 years are allowed to evaluate and treat you as a Direct Access patient.  Despite this allowance, you may still require a doctors prescription for insurance benefits to be effective.

Please check with your insurance company for individual specifications, as reimbursement is not guaranteed.  Assistance with this process is available if necessary.
